At Red Thread, we are seeking a skilled Construction Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing floor covering business through prospecting, networking, and servicing new and existing accounts in the CT, Western MA, and Eastern NY markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential customers through research and investigation.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to establish rapport and secure new business.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, including detailed budgets and product specifications.
  • Manage the order process from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and installation.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Department to collect delinquent funds and resolve any issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights to improve our products and services.

Requirements:

  • Intermediate PC skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • BA/BS degree preferred, with 3+ years of sales and construction experience.
