Job Overview
Decker is seeking an experienced CDL-A Company Driver to join our team. As a Reefer OTR Driver, you will be responsible for hauling refrigerated freight across the country, averaging 1,900 to 2,300 miles per week.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate a 53 ft. reefer trailer, pulling 2020-2024 Peterbilt 579, Volvo, or Freightliner Cascadia trucks
• Travel east of the Rockies, with occasional drop-n-hook opportunities
• Maintain a clean and safe driving record, adhering to CSA regulations
• Participate in regular safety inspections and maintenance of equipment

Compensation and Benefits
• Competitive pay, with a minimum guarantee of $1,000 per week
• Opportunities for pay increases, up to $.70 cpm
• Monthly bonus based on performance, up to $.05 cpm
• Per diem of $.10 cpm, included in pay rate
• Military pay incentives for eligible drivers
• Trailer washout pay, stop pay, detention pay, layover pay, and breakdown pay

Requirements
• CDL-A license, with a clean driving record
• 21+ days out, 5 days home, with occasional weekends off
• Ability to pass a physical exam and drug test
• 4 weeks of training, including orientation and onboarding

Equipment and Amenities
• Modern, well-maintained trucks, equipped with APU, inverter, free Wi-Fi, and satellite TV
• Comfortable sleeper berths and amenities, including microwave and refrigerator
• Comdata fuel card and ELDs powered by Geotab and Transflo

Location and Orientation
• Fort Dodge, IA, with a 3-day orientation period
• Rental vehicle, plane, or reimbursement for driving own vehicle, available for traveling to orientation

Physical and Drug Requirements
• Applicants must have a complete physical within the last 6 months, certified for 6 months or longer, and does not expire within the next 3 months
• All applicants will be subject to a pre-employment urinalysis and hair follicle drug test prior to coming to orientation
