Assistant Store Leader

At Kate Spade New York, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Leader to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute business-driving initiatives to build repeat business and attract new customers
- Communicate and achieve store productivity targets, including sales per hour, adt, upt, and capture rate
- Ensure all associates and leadership complete sales training and develop strong product knowledge across all categories
- Model and supervise the selling environment, providing consistent coaching on sales training and customer service
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving financial success through improvement of measurable results
- Lead by example with personal sales goals and educate the team on sales plans and measurable stats
- Network in the community to ensure open positions are filled efficiently
- Conduct ongoing review and assessment of employee performance
- Understand and communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers
- Ensure brand and operating standards are met to support brand consistency
- Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds and securing the facility
- Minimum 3 years management experience in a comparable retail environment
- College degree preferred
- Prior luxury goods experience preferred
- Professional sales development and exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
- Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends
- Comfortable in making decisions and mediating conflict within a team environment
- Proficient in Windows-based software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
