  • Engage with clients to initiate collection efforts based on account due dates; respond to inquiries from patients, insurance representatives, and healthcare facilities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive portfolio, process purchase orders, and manage invoice submissions while preparing accounts receivable reports.
  • Assess and strategize resolutions for disputed balances, and escalate accounts as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and payment processes, while also liaising with external stakeholders regarding overdue payments.
  • Generate reports for management, providing updates on account statuses and assisting with special initiatives.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies to protect the confidentiality of client information.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to resolve issues and maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in healthcare billing and collections, with a solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
