We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Living Business Office Manager to join our team at The Waterford at Round Rock, a Sonida Senior Living community.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business office functions, including accounting, finance, and human resources. They will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and administration of company policies and procedures, as well as coordinating and directing all activities in accordance with these policies.

The Senior Living Business Office Manager will also act as a support to the human resources functions, assisting the leadership team in accomplishing goals through people. This includes but is not limited to; personnel records, orientation, employee retention efforts, leave of absence, and recruitment assistance within the community.

The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations, including HIPAA, State Regulations, OSHA, and infection control protocols. They will also be responsible for preparing census changes, entering payments, ancillary charges, preparing statements, processing resident renewals, and closing the AR books for each period.

Additionally, the Senior Living Business Office Manager will maintain and review accounts payable and routing invoices to the appropriate department, entering invoices and tracking payment information. They will also verify and maintain all employee records, including those relating to actions involving the BD's direct reports. Directs and manages direct reports. Verifies and submits timecards for bi-weekly payroll. Track used PTO time for all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementation and administration of company policies and procedures

  • Ensure compliance with all laws, rules, and regulations
  • Prepare census changes, enter payments, and process resident renewals
  • Maintain and review accounts payable and routing invoices
  • Verify and maintain all employee records

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Two (2) years of experience with business office functions
  • Three (3) to five (5) years in business office management, finance, or accounting preferred
