Position Overview:

CommIT Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Analyst to bolster our corporate growth initiatives. This role is pivotal in enhancing our business development strategies, exploring new market opportunities that resonate with our core competencies, and crafting marketing approaches for targeted projects and corporate objectives.

Founded in 2001, CommIT is a Certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) and Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) dedicated to delivering innovative technical engineering and data science solutions. Our enterprise systems support includes a variety of government sectors, ensuring the highest standards in acquisition management, systems engineering, Agile software development, cloud management, IT modernization, data analytics, cybersecurity, and training, with a focus on advanced DevSecOps, automated testing, and mobile application development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the business development lifecycle by tracking solicitations, identifying potential business ventures, and managing customer relationships.
  • Assist proposal and capture managers in the development and maintenance of proposal schedules, including all phases of review and production.
  • Support the proposal team in organizing bid preparations, including proposal kick-off meetings, content writing, and color team reviews.
  • Analyze solicitation requirements and aid in the creation of compliance matrices for proposals.
  • Contribute to new and follow-on business capture management, strategizing for growth, and monitoring progress towards business objectives.
  • Gather competitive intelligence across federal and commercial sectors to enhance strategic growth and capture management.
  • Maintain a current and standardized collection of reusable proposal content and templates within the knowledge management database.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, project review calls, and industry events as necessary.
  • Oversee and ensure the quality of CRM data, including regular reporting and financial forecast analysis.
  • Provide administrative support related to business development as required.
  • Develop strategies for web measurement and report on key business metrics.
  • Monitor campaign and website performance using analytic tools, providing actionable insights to Executive Leadership.
  • Create and maintain metrics and reports on marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze campaign results, focusing on key metrics and optimization outcomes.
  • Collaborate with project teams to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Regularly produce diverse content types, including press releases, newsletters, and email communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, along with a professional demeanor.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with intermediate Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.
  • Eligibility for DoD Security Clearance is required.

Security Clearance:

  • Capability to obtain Secret Clearance.

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 20% travel may be necessary.
