Role Responsibilities:

The Solar Advisor team is dedicated to achieving high sales conversion rates while ensuring customer satisfaction by connecting qualified solar candidates with our dealer network and direct sales teams.

We are looking for skilled inside sales professionals who can effectively qualify homeowners for solar consultations in a call-center setting.

It is crucial that homeowners receive an outstanding first impression when they reach out to inquire about solar system purchases.

To excel in this position, candidates must possess a sales-oriented mindset, recognize their essential role in the sales process, and collaborate effectively with other departments, including marketing and outside sales teams.

As the initial point of contact for potential clients, the Solar Advisor will navigate objections, qualify leads over the phone, and arrange in-home visits for qualified prospects.

This position involves managing a high volume of leads in a call-center environment, making it ideal for a dynamic individual who is highly organized, capable of multitasking, and has a genuine passion for sales and customer engagement.

The role requires close collaboration with Dealers, Client sales personnel, sales managers, Customer Experience teams, Lead Generation, Lead Management CRM, and Regional Marketing.


Key Duties:
  • Handle inbound and outbound leads in a call-center environment.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospects, representing the company.
  • Qualify leads by assessing homeowners' energy costs and pre-screening solar suitability.
  • Listen to homeowner interests and concerns, providing tailored feedback.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction by guiding quality prospects through the sales process.
  • Accurately document all customer-related information in Salesforce (CRM).
  • Address lead transfer and appointment process issues.
  • Meet and exceed monthly quotas and service level agreements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be available to work outside standard business hours to accommodate residential homeowners.

Qualifications:

Strong work ethic, excellent business acumen, and a superior customer service orientation are essential.

Ability to work shifts during all coverage hours: 8 am – 10 pm, seven days a week, with schedules subject to change based on business needs.

Preferred experience includes inside sales in a quota-driven environment, strong project management, and communication skills, with the capacity to manage multiple programs and meet tight deadlines.

Proficiency in Salesforce is advantageous.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently with moderate guidance in a fast-paced setting.

Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Exceptional communication skills, especially over the phone and in writing.

Team player with a positive attitude.

Minimum of 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.


Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory. An associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
