Job Summary:

Shared Medical Services is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Credentials and Onboarding Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Cottage Grove, WI. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining employee credential files, assisting with new hire onboarding and orientation, and processing credential requests from customers and field managers.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee credential files
• Assist the Talent Acquisition team with new hire onboarding and orientation
• Process credential requests from customers and field managers
• Review and track payment of invoices related to credentials
• Assist the HR team and Safety department with additional projects and tasks as needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a highly detailed administrative role, preferably in healthcare credentialing, safety/compliance, contract compliance, or legal department
• Knowledge of office procedures, methods, and equipment, including computers and applicable software applications, including databases; proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with individuals at all levels
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple team members and communicate professionally
