Job Title: Senior Windows Systems/Server Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows Systems/Server Administrator to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our enterprise-level product suite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor system performance on our ERP application to ensure optimal system operation.
  • Identify and resolve system issues, software bugs, and network connectivity problems.
  • Create and manage user accounts and access permissions for various systems and applications.
  • Implement security policies, monitor for potential security breaches, and respond to security incidents.
  • Manage the configuration and operation of on-premises and cloud-based systems, including provisioning and configuring cloud services.
  • Research event-log warnings and errors, and monitor resources to ensure seamless system architecture.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and policies to ensure effective application management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and objectives for ERP projects.
  • Provide training to end-users on ERP system functionality, best practices, and new features.
Requirements:
  • Security Clearance: Possess a current DoD SECRET clearance and maintain T5 Security Background Investigation for IT Level I access.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE and CompTIA Server+.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience: 10+ years of Windows System Administration experience.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated Systems Administration experience with Windows Server Administration, cloud experience, and knowledge of ERP applications.
