Job Title: Senior Systems Administrator

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Alexandria, Virginia. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing support to our customer's infrastructure Windows Servers, maintaining user access, installing required DoD security patches, and updating the system's operating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the customer's infrastructure Windows Servers
  • Maintain user access, install required DoD security patches, and update the system's operating systems
  • Manage limited access projects and responsible for the submission of required documentation for the Authority to Operate (ATO) issued by the DoD CIO office
  • Design and implement Information Technology infrastructure requirements to support TS/SCI and SAP projects
  • Plan and execute scheduled file backups using DoD Enterprise approved solutions
  • Perform Database Administration for Microsoft SQL Server to include version upgrades, database creation, and user access permissions
  • Install and configure DoD Enterprise Servers with robust, fault-tolerant data storage and DoD STIG Compliance using the DoD Enterprise security scanning software
  • Implement and support Information Assurance (IA) and security activities using the DoD Enterprise McAfee HBSS software suite and STIG Compliance checks
Requirements:
  • BS degree and a minimum of 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience (ability to substitute years of experience for a degree)
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience in management of DoD systems, networks, and IT infrastructure configuration
  • 4+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator for classified and unclassified networks
  • Experience with rack-mounted servers, network switches, and backup solutions
  • Demonstrated experience with DoD software approval process, Risk Management Framework, and Nessus system security scanning procedures
  • Experience implementing DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide requirements on Windows-based systems
  • Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Military experience
  • May possess a Doctorate in technical domain
  • Experience with ACAS and Nessus security scanning
  • Application of STIG settings through Group Policy
  • Experience with SEIM applications
