Job Title: Senior Windows System/Server Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows System/Server Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting our enterprise-level Windows systems and servers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving system issues, software bugs, and network connectivity problems.
  • Create and manage user accounts and access permissions for various systems and applications.
  • Ensure that all systems are secure by implementing security policies, monitoring for potential security breaches, and responding to security incidents.
  • Manage the configuration and operation of on-premises and cloud-based systems, including provisioning and configuring cloud services, monitoring performance, and ensuring security.
  • Document all system configurations, procedures, and policies to ensure that the application is maintained and managed effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and objectives for ERP projects.
  • Perform system backups, disaster recovery, and ensure system uptime/availability.
  • Provide training to end-users on ERP system functionality, best practices, and new features.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Windows System Administration experience.
  • Demonstrated Systems Administration experience with Windows Server Administration.
  • Maintain Windows servers, per DoD compliance, to include: Cyber Hardening, Cyber Compliance, Patch Management, Configuration Management, and Release Management.
  • Cloud experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE and CompTIA Server+ certifications.
  • Bachelor's Degree.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Security Clearance: Possess a current DoD SECRET clearance and maintain T5 Security Background Investigation, in order to obtain IT Level I access.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE and CompTIA Server+.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience: 10+ years of Windows System Administration experience.

Work Environment:

This position requires the employee to report full-time, onsite. The work schedule is 9am-5pm EST, with occasional nights/weekends when required. The location is Alexandria, VA, with occasional travel up to 10%.
