Job Title: Senior Windows Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows Systems Administrator to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our Windows-based systems and servers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of our Windows-based systems and servers to ensure optimal operation.
  • Identify and resolve system issues, software bugs, and network connectivity problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Create and manage user accounts and access permissions for various systems and applications.
  • Implement and maintain security policies to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.
  • Manage the configuration and operation of on-premises and cloud-based systems, including provisioning and configuring cloud services.
  • Research and resolve event-log warnings and errors, and monitor resources to ensure seamless system operation.
  • Document all system configurations, procedures, and policies to ensure effective system management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and objectives for ERP projects.
  • Provide training to end-users on ERP system functionality, best practices, and new features.
Requirements:
  • Security Clearance: Possess a current DoD SECRET clearance and maintain T5 Security Background Investigation to obtain IT Level I access.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE and CompTIA Server+.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of Windows System Administration experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • PeopleSoft experience.
  • WebLogic experience.
  • VMware experience.
