In this role, you will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses specifically designed for forklifts. The position involves light physical work, with some assembly stations allowing for seated work; however, flexibility is required as you may be assigned to standing stations. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, totaling 40 hours per week with potential overtime.

Upon transitioning to a full-time employee, you will become eligible for salary increases. The work environment is quiet and clean, with a relaxed dress code. You will utilize hand and power tools for mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic assembly tasks.

Your responsibilities will include receiving necessary components and adhering to detailed diagrams and work instructions to assemble and reassemble low mix/high volume sub-assembly components. You will also conduct visual inspections of your work before proceeding to the next operation, making adjustments as needed. Additionally, you will use a computer system to manage inventory levels of required supplies and notify your supervisor of any shortages.

Material handling and safety procedures must be followed when stacking and moving work items. You may also be required to operate overhead cranes, hoists, and lift trucks to transport heavier materials.

Supporting the company's 5S program is essential to maintain an organized and tidy work area, equipment, and supplies. You may also be tasked with disassembling, cleaning, repairing, rebuilding, and reassembling previously constructed assemblies, along with performing related duties as assigned.




Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 3:25 PM

Skills:
• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Capability to stand for extended periods.

No Degree Required

Experience:

1-4 years

• Resume required.
• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
