Job Overview:

Registered Nurse - Evergreen (Various Opportunities Available)

Full-Time; Flexible Shift Options (8, 10, or 12 Hours)

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver the highest standard of care to oncology patients across the adult and geriatric spectrum. You will develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will also inspire and guide other qualified members of the patient care team to ensure improved outcomes through effective delegation and independent judgment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care for medical/surgical, ambulatory care, and same-day surgery patients. Assist with special procedures and direct care delivered by Patient Care Technicians and other healthcare team members.
  • Adhere to infection control policies and practices.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to resolve conflicts.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members.
  • Protect patient dignity, rights, and privacy.
  • Delegate tasks in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Assess the knowledge level of patients or designated support persons.
  • Document nursing care accurately and legibly.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines as necessary.
  • Maintain required competencies and pursue professional growth.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current State Registered Nurse License required.
  • BSN required or enrollment within 6 months of hire, with completion within three years.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
  • 1-3 years of RN experience in a bedside care setting preferred.
  • Oncology experience preferred.
