Job Summary
City of Hope is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse, Stem Cell Transplant II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient-centered care to oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing cellular therapies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care for malignant hematology and stem cell transplantation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in cellular therapy.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Cellular Therapy (Stem Cell Transplant and/or Immune Effector Cell) or as qualified by Cellular Therapy Leadership.
- Education: BSN required or enrolled within 6 months of hire and completed within three years from hire date.
- Licensure: Georgia Registered Nurse License or a Registered Nurse License from a Compact State.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy/Biotherapy Provider, or BMTCN.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in Cellular Therapy.
- Certification: Blood & Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse (BMTCN).
- Special Skills: Oncology.
