The HVAC EMCS Supervisor is a key member of the Alutiiq Logistics & Maintenance Services team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HVAC and EMCS shops. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team, prioritize tasks, and ensure the completion of all assigned preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Guide Team Members: Provide direct supervision and guidance to HVAC and EMCS personnel, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete their tasks.
- Schedule and Oversee Work: Schedule and oversee work for specific areas of responsibility, coordinating with other shop supervisors and the Operations Manager to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Manage Resources: Oversee the purchasing of all materials, including proper handling and storage, and ensure the issue of hazardous and flammable materials is handled safely and efficiently.
- Timekeeping and Approval: Manage all timekeeping and approval for assigned employees, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors to obtain assistance for maintenance and installation, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- EMCS Certification: Ensure that EMCS components are certified and accredited in accordance with DOD and Air Force directives.
- Facility Controls: Identify facility controls requirements and communicate them to the Engineering Flight/Contracting Squadron.
- RWP Program Management: Manage the RWP Program for assigned shops, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Valid State Driver's License: Possess a valid state driver's license.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent with prior government purchasing experience.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas effectively with personnel at all levels.
- Discretion and Confidentiality: Demonstrate the ability to work harmoniously with others and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
