Job Summary

Summary: Collaborates with warehouse personnel to prepare and transport products according to established safety, performance, and accuracy standards. Maintains and verifies documentation to ensure the smooth flow of goods through the distribution center. Performance directly impacts overall safety, cost, and service metrics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*This position requires the transportation of products using a company-owned vehicle; therefore, as a condition of employment, a Motor Vehicle Check must be completed and meet the criteria set by Levy.

  • Ensures appropriate functions, duties, and procedures are executed as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Receives, unloads, moves, and loads merchandise.
  • Verifies accurate counts of items received and notes any discrepancies or damages.
  • Issues and delivers items to the correct destination and obtains signatures to document delivery/receipt.
  • Maintains proper storage of inventory merchandise to prevent spills or spoilage; rotates stock according to schedule.
  • Maintains a safe and orderly work area; reports any unsafe and/or hazardous conditions.
  • Manages and maintains stock control; plans future needs and adjusts par levels, processes stock orders, controls dead stock, and schedules deliveries on the dock.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
