Job Title: Manager of Quality

Sierra Donor Services is a leading organ procurement organization (OPO) dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Quality to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Manager of Quality will be responsible for ensuring the execution of our Quality Management systems and driving quality and performance improvement initiatives throughout the organization. This role will oversee the development and implementation of quality policies, procedures, and standards, as well as conduct audits and investigations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and industry-driven accreditations.
  2. Oversee quality deliverables and practices, including policy deviations and nonconformances, audits, training, document control, adverse reactions, PDSA, and CA/PA.
  3. Provide daily management, training, and scheduling of quality personnel.
  4. Promote accurate medical records and data elements with applicable regulations and standards.
  5. Oversee the organ chart review and audit process, ensuring correction assignments are made by the appropriate staff to ensure a comprehensive and complete donor record.
  6. Manage the audit system and collaborate in the development and analysis of statistical measurements of activity, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  7. Oversee the review and investigation of deviations and occurrence reports, completing root cause analysis and finalizing reporting as appropriate.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an OPO quality systems experience with medical records. A minimum of 3+ years of experience with a quality management system is required, with CQIA, CPTC, CTBS, and CEBT certifications preferred. A valid driver's license with the ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements is also necessary.
