Position Overview

Environmental Quality Management, Inc. is seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards in environmental management and safety.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Operating various types of heavy machinery including hydraulic excavators, track-type tractors, bulldozers, and wheel loaders.
  • Performing maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilizing personal protective equipment while working in hazardous waste environments.
  • Adhering to safety protocols related to hazardous materials and confined space entry.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in operating heavy machinery.
  • A valid Driver's License.
  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, with an 8-hour refresher preferred.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
