Mental Health Specialist

At ECMC, we are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team. This role involves working with patients suffering from various psychological and/or chemical dependence problems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans using established methodologies;
- Participate as a primary counselor to individuals, in groups and for families;
- Conduct intake and screening of new patients;
- Collect and maintain appropriate data to establish an overall approach to the solution of patient's mental and social problems;
- Possession of a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a Master's Degree substantially equivalent to Social Work or Counseling as determined by the New York State Education Department;
- Licensure and registration as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or possession of a Limited Permit to practice as a LMSW; or licensure and registration to practice as a Mental Health Counselor;
The estimated salary for this role is between $29.788 - $40.358 per hour. The successful candidate will also be entitled to comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
