About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist II to join our team at MUSC. As a key member of the operating room team, you will be responsible for preparing sterile supplies and equipment used in surgical procedures and performing various duties involved with direct patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CST
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience. MUSC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
