POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in assisting Management in fostering a customer-centric and product-oriented sales culture. This includes upholding our core values and guiding principles in all store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability. FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Results Orientation

Achieve company sales targets by employing effective sales techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assist in recommending merchandise selections or locating items based on customer preferences.

Stay informed about current promotions and sales; maintain pricing accuracy and visual merchandising standards.

Adhere to merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention standards, and other responsibilities as directed by Management.

Engage in visual merchandising initiatives, including monthly store setups and maintenance.

Customer Engagement

Exemplify and advocate for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, delivering a seamless omni-channel experience.

Promptly address customer inquiries and concerns.

Ensure an efficient checkout process, staying updated on policies regarding payments, promotions, returns, and security practices.

Encourage purchasing decisions at the register and achieve additional sales goals, including gift card promotions.

Enroll clients in loyalty programs.

Develop and sustain a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.

Maintain knowledge of current product offerings and fit options available in-store and online.

Consistently communicate with clients through a customer relationship management system.

Operational Excellence

Assist in replenishment activities to ensure the store remains well-stocked and visually appealing.

Support fulfillment processes as needed.

Contribute to visual merchandising tasks, including floor layouts, window displays, and signage as instructed.

Help maintain store cleanliness and organization.

Team Collaboration and Development

Encourage an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Seek opportunities for personal development and actively request feedback.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred experience in retail or sales.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Able to learn and adapt to company-provided technology.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Effective communication with customers, team members, and Management.

Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Constant walking/standing throughout the shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of the shift).

Frequent climbing (34%-66% of the shift).
