POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in assisting Management to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment. This position emphasizes our core values and guiding principles in all store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while maximizing profitability.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Results Orientation

Achieves company sales targets by employing effective sales techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers. Assists customers in selecting merchandise that meets their needs and preferences.

Stays informed about current promotions and maintains visual and pricing standards.

Ensures adherence to merchandise handling and presentation standards, loss prevention protocols, and other responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Participates in visual merchandising efforts, including monthly store setups and maintaining designated zones.

Customer Service Excellence

Embodies and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, delivering a seamless omni-channel experience.

Addresses customer concerns promptly and efficiently.

Facilitates a quick and smooth checkout process, remaining knowledgeable about payment policies, coupon usage, returns, exchanges, and security practices.

Encourages additional purchases at checkout, including gift card sales, and enrolls clients in the rewards program.

Develops and nurtures a loyal customer base through personalized service and wardrobe consultations.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product fit and style offerings available in-store and online.

Utilizes a customer book to ensure consistent communication with clients.

Operational Efficiency

Assists in replenishment activities to keep the store well-stocked and inviting.

Supports locate fulfillment processes.

Contributes to visual merchandising tasks, including floor sets, window displays, and signage placement as directed.

Helps maintain boutique cleanliness and organization.

Collaboration and Development

Encourages an inclusive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Seeks opportunities for personal growth and actively requests feedback.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Previous retail or sales experience preferred.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Able to learn and adapt to technology utilized by the company.

Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Must effectively communicate with customers, associates, and management.

Regular attendance is crucial for this role to ensure adequate coverage for company objectives. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required.

Frequent climbing may be necessary.
