About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our Security Solutions team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our business unit, generating leads, and turning those leads into sales success for existing buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow assigned territory or group of accounts consisting of building owners, end-users, and property managers.
  • Achieve booking and gross margin goals.
  • Develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territory.
  • Effectively perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
  • Work with operations, finance, legal, and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the sale.
  • Follow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion.
  • Assist in resolving installation, collections, and other customer satisfaction issues as needed.
  • Assist customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommend suitable resolutions accordingly.
  • Utilize sales software for sales activity reports, forecast reports, and expense tracking.
  • Participate in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops, and seminars.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of sales-related work experience.
  • Moderate related technical and financial expertise.
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle.
  • Knowledge of access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, electronic principles, electrical systems, monitored alarms, and engineering, installation, management, and construction procedures.
  • Ability to interpret plans and specifications.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including upper management.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of accountability and willingness to take responsibility.
  • Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in business or a similar field with 2-4 years of related work experience.
  • Certification in security systems or related fields (e.g., ASIS CPP, PSP).
  • Knowledge of local and national security regulations and standards.
Work Environment

This position may require lifting to 25 lbs. from floor to countertop and countertop to floor. Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, or elevated platforms as needed. Indoor office and outdoor environment, customer sites, and general construction sites.
