The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is tasked with providing maintenance support across various locations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. The AMT will report directly to the designated Regional Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducts and documents maintenance on aircraft structures, engines, propellers, and associated systems in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the company’s General Maintenance Manual, Approved Aircraft Inspection Program, manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations.

Ensures that all maintenance records and related documentation, including company forms, AAIP checklists, and parts approval documents, are accurately completed and filed in compliance with the General Maintenance Manual and applicable regulations.

Manages the inventory of parts at the base, following the General Maintenance Manual and Supply Chain policies: processes orders for spare parts, maintains physical inventory, and performs inventory counts.

Maintains tools and ground support equipment owned by the company.

Collaborates with the Operations department and Communications Center to ensure timely updates regarding aircraft status and availability.

Provides after-hours maintenance support as required by the regional operational bases.

Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Regional Maintenance Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience in maintaining turboprop and/or turbine-powered aircraft.
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License and a current driver’s license.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex technical information related to aircraft maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and avionics systems with the capability to troubleshoot and repair faults.
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours maintenance support, including travel and working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong work ethic, customer service skills, and effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to the success of the Maintenance department and the organization.
  • Possession of basic aircraft mechanic tools and accountability for personal tools as per company policy.
  • Proficiency in a computerized work environment, including administrative tasks using Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
