Position Summary:

The Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Operations will spearhead the vision, strategy, and comprehensive execution of the Supply Chain function. This role encompasses oversight of procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, demand forecasting, fulfillment, and logistics. The position is inherently cross-functional, necessitating collaboration across the entire organization. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
  • Formulate and implement the strategic direction for the Supply Chain function.
  • Establish metrics for success.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence.
  • Design the organizational structure and lead recruitment efforts.
  • Develop, select, and implement processes, systems, and software.
  • Oversee gross margin management.
Procurement:
  • Create a top-tier supplier network.
  • Collaborate with product teams to identify and source high-quality suppliers.
  • Manage and negotiate supplier agreements.
  • Oversee the supplier onboarding process.
  • Partner with quality assurance to develop auditing procedures.
Manufacturing:
  • Manage relationships with manufacturing partners.
  • Build a resilient manufacturing ecosystem.
  • Ensure all partners adhere to the highest quality standards and GMP.
  • Conduct supplier reporting and demand planning.
Warehousing & Fulfillment:
  • Oversee inventory management and lot control.
  • Manage third-party logistics (3PL).
  • Select and oversee the logistics network.
  • Negotiate and optimize shipping routes.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in leading and managing a supply chain organization.
  • Experience in high-growth consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies across various revenue ranges.
  • Familiarity with co-manufacturers.
  • Experience with ERP system implementation.
  • Track record of transitioning a CPG company from direct-to-consumer to retail.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Intellectually driven with a focus on accuracy.
  • Proactive attitude with a passion for executing ideas swiftly.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively communicating priorities to the team.
  • Self-aware, humble, and inquisitive.
