About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Support Specialist to join our Data & Insights Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support and expertise to our clients, helping them to overcome complex technical challenges and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data-centric issues, including ETL pipelines and data schemas
  • Work with clients to shape and format data for data analysis and visualizations
  • Participate in client and internal meetings to leverage product expertise and inform high-level use cases
  • Help clients develop creative solutions by leveraging platform APIs with various programming languages
  • Curate and maintain a broad and best-in-class knowledge base, partnering with product owners to develop documentation for product releases
  • Provide Tier II support for Data & Insights solutions sold and managed by other divisions, engaging with personnel of other Tyler divisions to problem-solve for issues and knowledge gaps
Requirements
  • Technical acumen and a hunger to keep learning, with the ability to understand technical concepts and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Proficiency with contemporary online applications and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Working knowledge of web development principles and programming language syntax, with experience troubleshooting broken queries (SQL or Python a plus)
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of data concepts and database structures, including fields, tables, views, and data manipulation
  • Strong communication and investigative skills, with the ability to break down technical concepts for various audiences and communicate with stakeholders and management to translate client expectations and advocate for change
  • Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to own solutions, take charge, and drive confidently forward
  • Analytical and creative ingenuity to troubleshoot and resolve problems, with experience triaging, gathering requirements, and finding clever ways of solving problems
