Position Overview:
The Accounting Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing and directing the analytical, compliance, and monthly closing processes. This position requires collaboration across various departments to enhance operational efficiency and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise the financial reporting of sales and margins.
2. Ensure adherence to accounting operational standards by contributing financial insights to strategic planning and reviews, addressing issues, and identifying system enhancements.
3. Maintain financial integrity by providing annual budget data for the accounting department, monitoring expenses, identifying discrepancies, and executing corrective measures.
4. Oversee the renewal of business insurance, ensuring accurate valuation of personnel, real property, vehicles, and other assets.
5. Develop strategic disbursement plans aligned with management's cash flow objectives.
6. Support the annual audit process by supplying necessary information and responding to auditor inquiries.
7. Safeguard the organization's value by maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
8. Uphold financial security by adhering to established internal controls.
9. Enhance job knowledge through continuous education, professional publications, and active participation in professional organizations.
10. Provide financial insights to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing comprehensive reports.
11. Prepare entries for asset, liability, and capital accounts by compiling and analyzing relevant information.
12. Document financial transactions accurately by entering account details.
13. Recommend financial actions by evaluating accounting options.
14. Summarize the current financial position by gathering information and preparing balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and other financial reports.
15. Validate financial transactions through thorough auditing of documents.
16. Maintain accounting controls by developing and recommending policies and procedures.
17. Reconcile financial discrepancies by gathering and analyzing account data.
18. Secure financial information through regular database backups and adherence to internal controls.
19. Address accounting procedure inquiries by researching and interpreting relevant policies and regulations.

Payroll Management:
The Accounting Supervisor will also oversee the payroll function, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions. Responsibilities include:
1. Implementing and refining payroll processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
2. Regularly updating the payroll system with employee data, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
3. Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of employee records within the payroll system.
4. Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies, collaborating with HR and other departments as necessary.
5. Executing payroll processing cycles according to the established timeline.
6. Reviewing and verifying payroll reports for accuracy.
7. Communicating with employees regarding payroll inquiries or discrepancies.
8. Collaborating with HR and management to address payroll-related issues and ensure smooth integration of payroll processes.
9. Supervising and mentoring payroll staff, providing guidance on complex payroll matters.
10. Generating and reviewing payroll reports for management and leadership.
11. Preparing and analyzing ad-hoc reports as needed.
12. Working with IT for enhancements and upgrades related to payroll systems.

Qualifications:
A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance is required.

Compensation:
Market-based salary with no additional incentives.
