Amentum is seeking an experienced Construction Security Observer to ensure the security of its construction sites. This individual will be responsible for continuous knowledge of employee locations, observing and controlling construction workers, and assisting with badge issue and control.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Understand and apply the principles of the Privacy Act, Title 5 of the U.S. Code, Section 552a, and applicable rules and regulations.
2. Apply the principles of Operations Security (OPSEC) for identifying, controlling, and protecting critical unclassified information per National Security Decision Directive Number 298 and DODD 5205.2 (series) DOD OPSEC Program Manual.
3. Meet and deal successfully with the general public.
4. Understand and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials to assigned duties.
5. Maintain poise and self-control under stress.
6. Conduct 'Stop & Question' of persons found in closed and locked areas, parking lots, and throughout the construction site after hours and on weekends/holidays to ensure no criminal activity has or is taking place.
7. Construct and write clear, concise, and accurate detailed reports if needed.

Requirements:
- Active TS Clearance
- At least 2 years' experience in construction security surveillance, Technical Surveillance Countermeasures, Industrial or Government security involving counterintelligence, construction quality assurance, or hands-on supervisory construction experience.
- Valid state-issued driver's license or permit
- High School diploma or equivalent
- No misdemeanor convictions involving moral turpitude, acts of dishonesty, assault, or battery, or felony convictions
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English skills

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
- In-field position with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, stooping, climbing, crawling, jumping, occasional running or sprinting
- Constant mental alertness and planning/organizing skills
- Ability to work under deadlines

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately $60,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
