Lead Medicaid Policy Specialist

The Kentucky Personnel Cabinet is seeking an experienced Medicaid Services Division Director to lead the Medicaid Services Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare policy and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policy initiatives that align with the Cabinet's goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of healthcare professionals in policy development and program implementation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans that promote healthy communities.
- Provide technical assistance and expert testimony to support policy decisions.
- Represent the Cabinet on state and national levels to advance healthcare policy and promote the well-being of Kentuckians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public health, health administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare policy and leadership roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and foster collaboration.
- Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in public health or a related field.
- Experience working in government or non-profit settings.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and policy.
