Financial Project Coordinator Job Description
The Reserves Network is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Project Coordinator to support our financial operations team. This role will involve preparing and analyzing financial reports, monitoring project financial performance, and supporting the month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on project accounting or cost accounting.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze project financial reports, including cost-to-complete estimates, variance analysis, and profitability assessments.
  • Monitor and report on project financial performance, including revenue recognition and cash flow management.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring accurate and timely project financial reporting.
  • Review and approve project invoices prepared by Billing Specialists, ensuring compliance with contract terms and accuracy in billing.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Proficient in financial software (e.g., Deltek, Ajera, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  • Knowledge of GAAP and industry-specific accounting standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
