Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Catamount Ski Resort LLC. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and tidy up rooms and other common areas of the resort, including emptying and disinfecting trash receptacles and disposing of waste.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Clean and sanitize toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks, as well as clean rugs, carpets, tile, outside decks, rubber & concrete floors.
  • Laundry and Linens: Collect, sort, wash, and put away laundry, towels, and linens, and strip beds and place fresh linen on them.
  • Recycling and Waste Management: Collect, sort, and transport recyclables (cans, bottles, and cardboard), and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
  • Guest Services: Respond to calls for housekeeping problems, deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms, and engage in friendly communications with all guests and customers.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, climb, lift, kneel, reach, and push repetitively.
  • Work Schedule: Weekend shifts required, with hours that may include nights and/or early mornings.
  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer Service: Skilled in providing outstanding customer service and able to adapt well to changing work priorities and company needs.
  • Time Management: Able to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively, with high energy and stamina required.
