Director of Technology Strategy

The Director of Technology Strategy will partner closely with ADP executives to create and continually improve our corporate strategy as well as lead strategic initiatives that drive shareholder value.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and evaluate strategies, including identifying key issues, framing hypotheses, conducting market research, and crafting actionable execution plans.
  • Drive innovation and creative problem-solving by staying ahead of industry and technology trends that influence ADP's business and solutions.
  • Enhance and support strategic planning processes in collaboration with Strategy, Operations, Product, and other cross-functional teams to align with business objectives.
  • Develop and manage strategic messaging and communication to leadership and the broader organization, providing updates on progress and outcomes of key initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire team members, cultivating a high-performance culture that emphasizes critical thinking, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with Operations to establish data-driven metrics and analysis, enabling informed decision-making and fostering continuous improvement in processes and operations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10 plus years of relevant experience in strategy, with a strong background in a top-tier consulting firm, leading projects, managing teams, and building client relationships.
  • Alternatively, experience in product or corporate strategy at a technology company.
  • Proven ability to develop and evaluate strategies, including identifying key issues, framing hypotheses, conducting market research, and crafting actionable execution plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering compelling messages to diverse audiences, including executives, customers, and partners.
  • Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
