Overview:

The Corporate Technology DevOps team plays a pivotal role in managing production support and overseeing essential applications that interact with the Middle Office, Operations, and Treasury teams. These applications are integral to the firm's profit and loss calculations, risk management, and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the production environment.
  • Manage infrastructure effectively.
  • Plan and execute releases.
  • Handle incidents and problems proficiently.
  • Conduct capacity planning and BCP testing.
  • Establish strong relationships with development teams and end-users.
  • Promote a DevOps culture within the organization.
  • Prioritize client service and delivery.
  • Become the primary contact for your area of expertise.
  • Develop subject matter expertise.
  • Cross-train Level 1 support teams and other DevOps teams.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in supporting an enterprise environment.
  • Educational background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in supporting business-facing applications is essential.
  • 5+ years of experience in Application/Production Support within Finance, Banking, or Insurance sectors.
  • 5+ years of proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Perl, Autosys, and SQL.
  • Strong scripting capabilities in Python, PowerShell, Perl, etc.
  • Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD, RabbitMQ, and Kafka.
  • Excellent SQL skills with a solid understanding of various database systems.
  • Ability to execute and comprehend complex queries.
  • Experience supporting both Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
