Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Marketing Specialist to join our team at Range Resources. This is a professional accounting position with limited supervision and guidance, requiring a strong understanding of accounting principles and the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly Accruals and Distributions: Prepare detailed monthly allocation and distributions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Volume Accruals and Reconciliations: Prepare detailed monthly volume accruals for operated and non-operated properties, reconciling actual volumes to accruals and distributions.
  • Invoice Preparation and Coordination: Prepare natural gas and liquids A/R & A/P invoices to multiple customers on a monthly basis, coordinating with schedulers to ensure accuracy.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Gather and compile pricing and transport cost reports, providing analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Communication and Liaison: Communicate effectively with third parties to resolve production and sales discrepancies, acting as a liaison between departments.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Ensure accounting controls are met throughout the monthly close cycle, collaborating with internal accounting department and assisting in reconciling various sales and expense accounts.
  • Special Projects: Assist with internal control development, documentation, and review to ensure compliance with SOX, and may assist in the analysis of new accounting standards and implementation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a focus on energy preferred.
  • Experience: 1+ year of experience in accounting or a related field, including internships.
  • Skills: Strong accounting knowledge, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
Working Conditions

Work performed in an office is typically in a climate-controlled indoor setting. Work performed in the field may require the employee to be subjected to seasonal field conditions ranging from normal to extreme temperature and weather conditions.
