Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at an esteemed addiction treatment center in Norfolk, CT.

About the Opportunity:

  • This is a unique chance to leverage your expertise in addiction medicine, working closely with clients and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
  • As an integral member of our team, you will contribute to shaping our clinical practices, staying current with best practices and research in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, incorporating pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions as needed.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, share knowledge, and promote seamless transitions between detox and residential settings.
  3. Provide education and support to clients and their families, promoting empowerment and long-term recovery goals.
  4. Maintain accurate, timely documentation, adhering to regulatory standards and ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  5. Foster open communication among colleagues, encouraging collaboration, and leveraging collective expertise to enhance patient outcomes.
  6. Evaluate and improve existing clinical protocols, recommending evidence-based practices to advance treatment excellence.
  7. Pursue ongoing professional development, remaining up-to-date on industry trends, research, and best practices in addiction medicine.

Education and Licensure:

  • A Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current APRN licensure in the state of Connecticut.
  • Active RN licensure in the state of Connecticut.

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is prorated and based on experience level:

Level I (1 year of experience): $105,000 - $120,000 per year.

Level II (2+ years of experience): $115,000 - $135,000 per year.

Level III (3+ years of experience): $130,000 - $150,000 per year.
