About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nursing Administrator to join our team as a Pulmonary and Renal Care Coordinator at Albany Medical Center. In this critical role, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and providing leadership to our specialty nursing unit staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care activities across multiple units, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to direct-care staff, promoting excellence in patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans that meet individual needs.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar nursing administrator position.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in patient care coordination, including effective problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in electronic health records and other relevant software systems.
