Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join our maintenance team at Staffing Logistics. As an Industrial Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for preserving the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute equipment repairs in a timely manner to ensure minimal downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Complete preventive maintenance services to prevent equipment failures and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Assist in engineering projects as needed to improve manufacturing processes and equipment performance.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Document and maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Comply with all work safety practices and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of maintenance and electrical experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work overtime as required.
  • Ability to use a computer and perform basic troubleshooting tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills on electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and hydraulics.
  • Experience with HVAC, Boiler, and Air Compressor systems.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, plumbing, and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot control circuits and wire 480 Volt Motors and Equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Position is physically demanding; ability to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as climbing and lifting objects.
  • Ability to walk and carry tool backpack.
