Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment, including inspections, oil changes, and filter replacements.
  2. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment.
  3. Install and replace new or reconditioned repair parts as needed.
  4. Test equipment for proper operation and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  5. Operate and test vehicles and mechanical equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  6. Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and safe equipment operation.
  8. Travel to job sites to make repairs to heavy equipment as necessary.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
  2. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  3. Ability to work safely and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  5. Ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
  6. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with heavy equipment operations and strong mechanical skills.
  2. Good computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  3. Ability to work in a team environment and assist others as needed.
