Full-time Special Education Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team at Bilingual Therapies in Cape Elizabeth, ME.

About the Role
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Grade Level: Elementary (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade)
  • Caseload: 13 students

The ideal candidate will have minimum 1+ years of special education experience and be certified in Special Education by Maine State. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field is required. Experience with early elementary students is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
  • Monitor progress and adjust instructional methods to support reading, math, and writing skills.
  • Provide targeted interventions for students to help them meet their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support seamless transitions from Pre-K to Kindergarten.
  • Maintain open communication with families regarding student progress and plans.
Salary and Benefits

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of $65,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package including dental, medical, vision, and 401K plan.
