About this job

As a highly skilled ICU nurse, you will provide expert care for critically ill patients in the picturesque state of Maine. Intensive Care nurses must be able to assess, plan, and implement care strategies for patients who may suffer from complex health conditions.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years recent experience in intensive care nursing and an active license or accreditation in one of the 50 US states. Additional requirements and certifications may be requested by the facility or unit.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • You will provide professional nursing services, including nursing interventions, documentation, case finding, health teaching, and provision of supportive and/or restorative care.
  • You will also participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards, and function as a member of a treatment team.
  • As a nurse, you may provide supervision to subordinate staff and be responsible for maintaining inventory standards for medicine, controlled drugs, and narcotics.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
