R&D Partners is seeking a highly skilled Contract Associate Engineer I to support our Formulation Development team in a biotechnology company. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with senior scientists to execute experiments, run assays, and interpret data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare reagents and materials, manufacture adjuvants, and perform drug product manufacturing.
- Characterize batches of adjuvants using analytical validation assays and perform data analysis.
- Problem solve and troubleshoot in a laboratory setting, ensuring scientific accuracy and maintaining excellent written records.
- Support senior scientists in executing experiments, running assays, and interpreting data as needed.
- Work with colleagues to order lab supplies, set up new vendors, and manage inventory of consumable and stability samples.
Requirements:
- BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Organic/Biochemistry, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or Biology.
- Prior knowledge of vaccines, basic chemistry, and nanoparticles is preferred.
- Experience in particle characterization techniques and willingness to learn new techniques.
- Experience in manufacturing buffers, pipetting, and lab reagents is required.
- Experience in Prism, JMP, Benchling, and additional laboratory record keeping/data analysis is preferred.
- Highly efficient and structured work practices, including practical laboratory work, notebook upkeep, and general record keeping.
Compensation:
- $35.00-$40.00/hr
