The hourly base pay rate is $19.62/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Job Description

Overnight Shift (10pm-6am or 11pm-7am)

This role is pivotal in the organization and allocation of vehicles within a designated area. Responsibilities include staging and labeling vehicles in preparation for crew leader movements and coordinating these movements with other functional area leaders (i.e., VE & Recon shops, etc.). This individual may also lead and guide others within their specific work zone.
  • Organize and uphold the arrangement of vehicles within the assigned zone or move area to meet the defined standards set by lot operations leadership.
  • Utilize daily information from the Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards to make informed move decisions related to their assigned zone area.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety and the efficient movement of vehicles in and out of their assigned zone area.
  • Safely move and stage vehicles, segmenting them into appropriate work destinations to minimize multiple drop-off points and optimize load efficiency.
  • Ensure all vehicles are operationally safe and engage service and tow teams when inoperable vehicles are identified.
  • Label vehicles with sale and routing tags to maintain accurate movements and eliminate the need for crew leaders to print and label staged units before transport.
  • Communicate with crew leaders and managers regarding inventory status within the defined move area and prioritize tasks as necessary.
  • Exemplify behavior by championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring respectful treatment of all employees.
  • Implement all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conduct.
  • Act as a visible representation of Manheim's safety commitment by adhering to all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors associated with these directives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
Qualifications:

Minimum
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Generally, less than 2 years' experience in a related field.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks with manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance, and depth perception.
Work Environment
  • Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Benefits
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
