Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented Vehicle Operations Specialist to join our Delivery & Field Operations organization. As a key contributor to our team, you'll work with cross-functional teams to facilitate vehicle logistics activities, manage documentation, and provide exceptional customer experiences.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who loves operational excellence, continuous improvement, teamwork, and growth. You'll be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming inventory, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining inventory lots.

As a Vehicle Operations Specialist, you'll work collaboratively with other teams to improve quality and efficiency. You'll also be responsible for maintaining inventory, managing documentation, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming inventory
  • Ensure quality standards through washing vehicles, detailing, and correction activities
  • Conduct quality control processes for delivery-ready vehicles and manage communication of defects to the service department
  • Responsible for organizing and maintaining secure key management for vehicle inventory
  • Maintain inventory lots and ensure safe and usable drive lanes
  • Shuttle vehicles to/from secondary locations, including customer and fleet vehicles
  • Maintain adequate inventory of essential supplies
  • Work cross-functionally with proper communication and collaboration with other teams onsite and remote
  • Participate in workshops that improve quality and efficiency with guidance from leads/managers
  • Proficiency with computers and software, including Microsoft Office and internal business platforms
Requirements
  • 1+ years' experience with operations, logistics, or lot management
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support customers on nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Working knowledge with computers and software, including Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to effectively navigate internal business platforms
  • Ability to obtain and maintain local sales licenses if applicable in your state/province
Working Conditions

Frequent use of hands for purposes of grasping and using tools correctly, entering data, writing communications, or calling customers or internal partners

Strong understanding of written and spoken English

Ability to see, read, and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or schematics
