Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at All Points North Lodge. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality psychiatric services to our clients, working under the direct supervision of our Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, including medication regimens and psychotherapy services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide consultation to other clinical staff regarding psychiatric issues and engage with family members and other support systems to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
  • Valid and unrestricted nursing license in the state of Colorado.
  • DEA certification for prescribing controlled substances.
  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities.
  • Proficiency in medical record documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current in the field of psychiatry.
