Job Title: Facilities Operations Administrator - Journeyman

Position Overview: Black Bear Technology Solutions, LLC is in search of a skilled Facilities Operations Administrator - Journeyman to ensure the seamless functioning and upkeep of our facilities. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient physical environment, enabling our teams to concentrate on delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily management of Black Bear Technology Solutions' facilities, encompassing office environments, equipment, and amenities.
  • Coordinate and supervise the maintenance and repair of essential building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security infrastructures.
  • Formulate and enforce policies and procedures to guarantee adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Establish and manage vendor partnerships for facility services, such as janitorial, landscaping, and security provisions.
  • Monitor and control facility budgets, including forecasting and implementing cost control strategies.
  • Direct space planning and utilization efforts to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various teams to facilitate office expansions, relocations, or renovations as necessary.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and rectify maintenance concerns and safety risks.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities, inspections, and financial expenditures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilities management or a comparable role, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
  • In-depth knowledge of building systems and maintenance protocols, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities, with effective communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and adept problem-solving skills, with a proactive stance on identifying and addressing issues.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and compliance mandates.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software is preferred.
