Birdon America, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer III to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating 3D models and 2D drawings for existing and new products using SolidWorks.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings for products, including tools, jigs, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot installation issues and recommend solutions.
- Select vendor hardware and parts compatible with systems and customer requirements.
- Organize and maintain drawing file configurations and storage.
- Process engineering changes and revise drawings to refine products based on input from engineering and production personnel.
- Create product illustrated parts diagrams and write product manuals.
- Strong experience with SolidWorks and CAD design principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
