Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative Ambulatory to join our team at UW Health. As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration and admission processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter and verify demographic and insurance information to ensure accurate patient records.
  • Collect patient financial obligations and register or admit patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Promote a positive patient experience by providing exceptional customer service and empathy.
  • Cover a variety of clinic locations and hours as needed to support operational needs.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service-related field required.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare, call center, business, financial, or insurance-related field preferred.
