Job Title: Ambulatory Patient Access Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Ambulatory Patient Access Representative to join our team at UW Health. As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration and access to our ambulatory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and verify demographic and insurance information for patients
  • Collect and process patient financial obligations
  • Register or admit patients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Promote a positive patient and family experience through exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely patient information

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field preferred
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service-related field required
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare, call center, business, financial, or insurance-related field preferred
