Housekeeping Manager

The Housekeeping Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that hotel guest room quality exceeds our guests' expectations by effectively managing the graded room inspection program and the housekeeping variance program through coaching and discipline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the graded room inspection program, ensuring that room inspectors conduct inspections in a timely and fair manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective action.
  • Develop and implement training programs for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and common areas.
  • Investigate and resolve guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of housekeeping services.
  • Manage the housekeeping budget and ensure that expenses are within budget.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff, providing coaching and discipline as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university.
  • Two to five years' experience in hotel guest room service and/or hotel operations.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and reports.
  • Ability to write clear and effective correspondence and present information to customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, with strong skills in Microsoft Excel preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work a variety of hours, including holidays and weekends.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
